ReplyDeleteWhich link? If you are talking about the hotfile link which is dead then the updated APK link can be found at the last line of the article. Download the APK from there and download data files and play

It verifies data files and not download it, I believe. If its downloading data files again, then you have put the data files in the wrong folder. Remember, this game's file placement is a little different than most of the games. You have to make a folder in sdcard - gameloft and inside it make another folder - games and copy and paste the data files inside that games folder you just created. Good Luck :)
DeleteNOTE - First, go to Apps (in settings) then clear data/cache of Backstab, then (dont open it yet) place data files like I said above and then play.
If it still doesn't work, then turn on Wifi (turn off mobile data) and turn off router.

Oh! I think you placed the data files wrong. If you think you placed the data files fine, then i am guessing you are placing the data in the external sdcard. Most phones (mostly newer) don't support that, so place data in the internal sdcard.
DeleteNote - Don't copy the data directly to Android folder as in many phones it is blocked to copy in hte folder to prevent pirated apps/games to be installed. So copy somewhere else on internal sd and then just cut/move it to the ANdroid folder. Good Luck :)
Also don't forget to clear data of Backstab from apps/application manager and then start the app.

Copy the APK and data files to the sdcard (not an external one, I mean copy to the phone storage). Then from a file explorer for eg. ES File Explorer open (tap) on the APK files and let it install (make sure 'unkonown sources' is checked in settings).
DeleteThen id the data file, there is a single (or >5) files and .obb then copy here
sdcard/Android/Obb
If not .obb then
sdcard/Adroid/Data
Then open, remember don't open before you have copied the data files.
